The Call of Duty Championships 2024 capped off the esports season with bold, immersive visuals. Starting from Major 3, I designed all the LED stage setups, crafting unique 3D visuals and fresh art direction for each event.
Major 3: Inspired by classic Call of Duty loading screens, delivering a nostalgic yet modern look.
Major 4: A gritty design influenced by gulag and cage match themes, with deeper transitions and dynamic motion.
Champs: A grand, Traditional sports -inspired style with an esports twist, designed for a 360-degree stage to amplify the competitive energy.
With just two weeks to prepare Champs—while also designing Major 4—it was a race against time. My goal for each event was to create depth, making every screen feel like part of the environment.
For Champs, I introduced split-screen visuals that pitted teams against each other and showcased the Call of Duty logo prominently on the main Jumbotron. The result? A bold, competitive atmosphere that brought the game to life for fans. Despite the challenges, these events marked a significant leap in esports stage design.
